The StrikeFighter™ is the perfect companion while trolling for trout, salmon, stripers or any type of trolling where you must be alert to the bite. When you are trolling, either you hold your rod all day long or put it in a rod holder. The StrikeFighter™ does both at the same time. The rod is being held in a rod controller with the sensitivity of being held while your hands remain free to relax. This is how the StrikeFighter™ does this; with the StrikeFighter™ belt slightly loosened so you can sit down in the boat, turn the StrikeFighter™ across in front of you pointing outwards and insert rod. The StrikeFighter™ holds your rod out just like a standard rod holder would, but it holds your rod in front of you with same sensitivity and quickness to strike your fish that you would have if you were holding the rod in your hand. You can be setting facing forward or backwards. Even if you doze off, when you get a strike the pull on the StrikeFighter™ wakes you up and you can instantly strike. The typical troller who puts their rod in the rod holder spends most of the day looking at their rod tips to see if the lure is working right. They also can have a strike and end up dragging a hooked fish for a few minutes because they were unaware they had a fish on. The StrikeFighter™ eliminates that because the sensitivity of the StrikeFighter™ tells you if the lure is working right, has picked up debris or a bite. You can spend all day looking at the scenery, reading a book or simply relaxing while your StrikeFighter™ remains attentive, alert and ready to strike. Holding your rod out the same way helps prevent line entanglement with your fishing partner line, and when you make a turn in the boat you don't have to worry about where your partner is holding their rod out to the side or out the back. Everything in life is relative except fishing buddies and they are constant. So to keep it that way, do not tangle their line. "The ideas we plant today are the fish of tomorrow"
